The Storyteller
Author
Jodi Picoult
Review
The Storyteller is an engaging novel that brings multiple stories into one. There is Minka, a girl whose family becomes victims of the Holocaust. Prior to that, Minka begins to write a novel about a girl who is falling in love with an Upier, Polish for vampire.

Decades later, Minka, the writer, is the grandmother of Sage, a woman scarred and fearful and who denounces her heritage until she befriends an old man who was a Nazi but now lives in the US and wants Sage's help to die. In gathering evidence to turn her Nazi friend in to authorities, she learns her grandmother's heart-wrenching story.

A complex story! but intriguing.
